Expecting 3 Foal in 2009 

A Horse For all Reasons
 

 JV Candy Man has certainly “raised the bar” when it comes to quality.  Being half Crabbet and half Russian, this horse for “all reasons” has produced foals far beyond our original expectations.  We have been delighted at how well he compliments a variety of mares giving their babies presence, yet maintaining their father’s propensity for color.  Like it or not, when they step in the show ring they are there to be seen!  Being athletic and upright, these babies have an aptitude for a variety of disciplines including western pleasure, hunter pleasure, show hack, reining and even a hint of English.  Having used Candy Man as a lesson horse for several years, we now find such trainability being passed on to his babies.  They are following in their father’s footsteps with a work ethic, a calm demeanor, and a desire to please.
